eumelia was the filming location of the first video for the EU campaign #MorethanFood that promotes European products to the Middle East and around the world. We hosted, shared our knowledge about olive oil and olives and explored Laconia with our guests writer Zahra Abdalla & vlogger Ali Basha.

The”two food explorers – @bashacook.ar & @cookingwithzahra – travelled to Greece to learn about a few staples of a European diet: olives and olive oil, cheese and citrus fruits. They came, they saw, they tasted – all with the local producers themselves! They have so many stories to share, from goat sightings and orange grove excursions to a cooking class with freshly pressed olive oil and feta cheese. But don’t take our word for it. Watch our video re-cap and get a glimpse of the craftsmanship, quality and safety standards that go into the many unique flavours of food and beverage products from all over the European Union. We have launched a campaign to promote EU agricultural food and beverage products in the Gulf Cooperation Council region, more particularly in the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Kuwait and Qatar. Collaborating with food enthusiasts, bloggers, and chefs from the region to produce these videos explaining why EU products are safe, authentic and of high quality.
